Additional points from me for being a citrus without smelling like an air-freshner. on me, it's very spicy at the start. Bought Chloe Nomade because it just caught me and held me at the perfume counter. Top notes are Mirabelle, Bergamot, Lemon and Orange; middle notes are Freesia, Peach, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Oakmoss, Amberwood, Patchouli, White Musk and Sandalwood. Its a strong perfume in silage and longevity. I'm so happy I got the trial size in a fragrance sampler set or I would have never tried it. Too grassy and green smelling for my liking. Tried it today at a shop, on paper and on my skin. Earthy forests floors, freshly clean skin, warm and spicy amber, and powdery florals all take turns shining linearly, and without conflict. The areas of duty free shops, bars, rushing business men and airplanes. I only wish my words have done Nomade justice, because wow! It projects really well, yet it's inoffensive. This is definitely a very interesting perfume. There is a tartness that bares a slight remembrance of Ungaro Diva from years past that I adore . I might have been better off getting the EDT instead. It took me a bit to learn to love this perfume but I was obsessed with it from the beginning and wear it now almost every day. I might even put it in my car (gasp! As I walked down the steps into the shady breezeway, some freesia and moss lingered behind me as the wind picked up and twirled the crunchy leaves on the sidewalk. I just don't get it. Stunning elegant bottle. Must be the oak moss, I've seen it listed as a note on other perfumes labeled as "sad". A very pleasant smell, good for day/night summer/winter wear. It has lasting power and can take your breath away if you spray too much. Sillage is light to moderate, dancing along the skin and the immediate inches around it. Yet, as I said, it's not something very unique or unseen. This is a very potent fragrance. This makes me curious about other chypres as I donât think I have smelled any except maybe Chanel No 5, which is very different. Nomade is for other kind of people with different scent memories and different skin chemistries. Suddenly I smelled rose and the fruity, with something deep playing up against the fresh floral. Nomade is refreshing, long lasting and perfectly unisex. Unfortunately this doesnât wear well on me. Don't blind buy this based on the notes. It lasts for a full day (eight hours) on my skin and days on my clothes. Instead it smells almost like a spiced pastry as another person mentioned. The first time I smelled this it was mwah, it didn't wow me. Is it on my skin only it performs more masculine and not even nearly sweet at all, or is it supposed to smell like this? It would be a great starter perfume and good in the spring, or for the office. I get four distinct phases: Chloé Nomade makes me think of the beautiful woven blankets from the American Southwest, thick and heavy with zigzags of desert sunset hues. I mean for now I don't dislike it but I can't say I love it either. I think Black Opium is addictive and inhale Prada Candy. It's a youthful adventure without loosing that girl-next-door touch. A fruitchouli masquerading as a chypre. For those who like a sophisticated but young fragrance, this is for you! In the first half an hour, on my skin I could sense mostly the citrus, which was a good surprise once again. Nomade starts off loud with tart/fresh/bright notes and stays this way for a few hours. There is nothing wrong with Nomade, I like the notes on paper, but in reality it doesn't evoke any kind of feeling in me. I adored the smell of the bottle, but on my skin Nomade became a completely different scent. I like citrus scents so even though I donât pick up the citrus maybe thatâs why I like it. As much as I wanted to like this scent it is way too masculine on me, I mean if is very well crafted but I feel it is too unisex and I'm not into that.However I just found out a new versione of Nomade will be out soon called Nomade Absolu de Parfum and I hope that will be a Nomade I like. At the end of the day the rose is prominent and the sent is much softer which is very appropriate for a relaxful and sensual evening out of the office. Nomade is proudly wandering between men's and women's fragrances, and every whiff smells a little bit more masculine or feminine. I almost felt like I was wearing aftershave. I recently purchased this perfumes and I would say this is not a safe blind buy. It becomes more dry and herbal leading to the patch and oakmoss, which is beautifully done here. I find it tasteful and attractive, a perfume with a headstrong but likable personality. I don't smell any oakmoss, because it ain't got any, of course (what all chypre wannabes have these days is some sorry synthetic excuse for oakmoss; I have a real oakmoss essential oil, take that, IFRA, come and sue me). It is also woody in the drydown but still... a cinnamon sprinkled cookies. But these days those scents ( current formulas ) are pitiful to my nose, and they also have very little longevity . To me, it's one piece of harmony, which is pleasant, not too sweat, a bit warm, but not heavy. The name and the smell of this perfume make me think about a free, open-minded and successful woman. Itâs hard to find a perfume that would smell peachy yet not candy like, and this one does just that. For years, I stayed away from Chloe perfume. This is one I want to love but I just can't see myself wearing it. Dry, serious, unsweetened but not sharp. Sharp citrus and freesia plus some green notes. About 45 minutes into the walk, I pull up my sleeve and sniff my wrist, and receive peaches and mirabelle on a bed of roses. I expected something special- in the range of NR ! It is such a unique scent. I much prefer Dolce Peony as a mirabelle-heavy scent. Switch it up a little! It smells "naturally" sweetened, like glucose as opposed to sucrose. I was really surprised. I think three sprays is all that is necessary and will last many hours. It's very similar to Miss Dior Cherie without the popcorn (she's on a diet) or Coco Mademoiselle, and has a nostalgic feel to it. After about half hour fruits and floral sweetness mostly fade, but moss takes over making it more earthly, rough, even masculine. This one is pretty much the one solitary Chloe perfume I actually LOVE.
