This variant is again chambered in .38 Special +P with an exposed hammer that allows both double-action and single-action activation. And the best concealed carry gun is the one you actually carry. It had a shrouding built up around the hammer such that only a small bit of the hammer stuck out, such that it was almost as snag-free as the Centennial (like the famous S&W 642 omnipresent CCW), but for deliberate fire could still be cocked.
