The Ohio Wildlife Center will mark the return of the Red Tail Run by hosting a Flyway 5K and Walk for Wildlife at 9 a.m. Nov. 9 at its 20-acre Nature Education Center, 6131 Cook Road in Powell. Every year, almost 5,000 injured, orphaned and sick wild animals, representing over 100 different species, are admitted to our emergency facility. The second Sunday of each month (Feb.-Nov.), OWC's Nature Education Center is open to the public from 12 pm-4 pm. Our May 9th Second Sunday event has been cancelled due to guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and Governor DeWine due to COVID 19 crises.
